A fantastic location just a few minutes from the city centre, Castle/prison, bars, restaurants, shops, etc. And one of the few places so close to the centre offering free onsite parking, which is very secure inside the courtyard gated off from the street. The street itself is very quiet but the Huxley apt is to the rear of the building anyway so no street noise, in fact hardly any noise at all !! Bed very comfy and good quality bedding, towels, etc. extremely clean and cosy. The kitchen and open plan living/dining room is brilliant !! So good that we brought away the kitchen layout idea for our renovation at home. Booking, pre-arrival info, tips and responsiveness was all excellent and we were actually sad to leave. Would not hesitate to recommend, thanks to all for making our stay so great :-)For anyone staying there the Olive Branch restaurant just around the corner was amazing food and lovely inside. Also The Punter pub was one of the best pub dinners we’ve had. We’re not veggies but try to eat less meat these days and honestly the choices were perfect and food, value and service second to none. Castle/prison tour was really good, as was alumni-guided university tour. Spectre ghost walk was goss fun and the Playhouse great little theatre. Bbuona pinsa restaurant Brilliant too, so many things to miss….
