There is a deep cosy sofa to sink into and the sturdy wooden English furniture adds to the authentic country farmhouse feel. There are a handful of totally modern touches to this area to enhance your stay, including ultra fast wireless broadband, a 4K Smart TV with Freeview, NOW TV and DVD, and a stereo with iPad dock.

Birch Cottage features a well equipped kitchen area for all your culinary needs, including electric oven and microwave, dishwasher, and Nespresso machine. If you’re holidaying with little ones the kitchen is stocked with a selection of kids cutlery and crockery, and for a little extra treat there is a welcome hamper provided on arrival filled with goodies such as homemade bread, and fresh free range eggs.

Birch Cottage has two spacious bedrooms, one double and one that can be made up as a twin, or luxurious king-size double. Both rooms are sumptuously decorated in a palette of gold and cream with hints of white and grey, giving a luxurious and cosy vibe. A selection of books for both adults and children are provided for your enjoyment, and there’s also a DAB clock radio in the master bedroom.

The bathroom suite is fresh and white with splashes of cheery sunflower yellow. It features a bathtub with overhead shower, and offers plenty of space and light.
