Trips to France are easily accessible – both Ashford and Dover are under 20 miles away, whilst Sissinghurst Gardens and fairytale castles at Bodiam and Scotney (all in the care of the National Trust) are a little further. Joss Bay provides a range of water sports and golf and riding are found locally. Shops 2.5 miles, pub serving food 100 yards.
