There are lots of exploring opportunities close by with Faversham 4 miles away and the city of Canterbury 7 miles. There are lovely beaches at Whitstable and Broadstairs.

We found the Pump House at Hern Hill to be ideally located with plenty of space to park. The kitchen/diner was well stocked and had all the equipment needed. The King size bed was comfortable. Having a tv in the bedroom as well as the lounge was a bonus especially as Netflix was available with programmes we wanted to see. The clealiness is first class. The Rose and Crown is just minutes from the property so is ideal for eating and drinking. The owners are also very helpful.
