I stayed here with a friend and two small dogs. This cottage was ideal, nothing had been left out. It was spotless, with a lovely enclosed garden, well equipped kitchen, comfy beds and living room, even dog bowls and beds were provided. And a thoughtful welcome basket with biscuits and nice crisps was a very nice extra. Right in the village near shops, etc but quiet and easy to park on the street. Trips to the lovely town of Rye and amazing seascape of Dungeness, mussels at the Pilot Inn, fresh fish and shopping at Salts farm shop all nearby. A perfect short break in a lovely cottage. Thank you Mark.

Only reason giving this 4 stars were the steep stairs. Everything else was very good.

The cottage was very compact, but one thing I would recommend is that the rope support going up the steep stairs be replaced with a permanent hand rail as the rope stretches when any pressure is used for balance etc. It is in a central area for visiting the shore and countryside, with good local amenities.
