The normal admission charge for visitors will be waived for all guests staying here, so you can enjoy the rural beach for as long as you wish. Surrounded by beautiful countryside these properties are adjacent to the owner’s home, on a working farm, which makes them a perfect countryside retreat. Next door is the Sandwich Bay Bird Observatory which can be used to spot many species of birds throughout the year. The Coach House (ref UKC2772) is a large barn conversion which can accommodate up to eight guests; it features Wi-Fi, a wood burner, and a large open plan living area. The spacious enclosed garden is perfect for the summer with seating and a gas barbecue. Coachman’s Cottage (ref UKC2773) is a quaint countryside cottage, accommodating four guests this property also offers Wi-Fi and open plan living, with a small enclosed courtyard with seating and barbecue for the summer months.
Nearby attractions include three championship golf courses, and includes Royal St George’s which will be hosting The Open in 2020. Sandwich Bay boasts a beautiful beach which is within walking distance. Fishing is also available locally. The nearby quiet medieval town of Sandwich has a delightful range of local shops, cafés, restaurants and pubs. The railway station in Sandwich offers a high speed service into London, plus the opportunity to visit France from either Dover or Folkestone with the Eurostar or ferry. Beautiful house. Well equipped. Welcome hamper provided. Very comfortable/homely. Spacious. Parking for 3 cars. Quiet surroundings. Plenty of local information provided regarding pubs or takeaways. On a private road with security. Next door to Sandwich Bay Bird Observatory Trust ideal if you are a twitcher.Sandwich village about 2.5 miles awayGood communication with owners.

I can’t recommend this cottage enough, Elizabeth & Richard went out of their way to accommodate us, as we stayed the night before my daughter’s wedding. Letting us come early to drop off things and giving a lovely gift for my daughter. Totally unexpected and so lovely. The cottage is perfect 😍

The Coach House is utterly delightful. An extremely highly appointed cottage, impeccably clean, and with literally everything you could need (it passed the "does it have a pizza wheel" test we use on holiday cottages with flying colours!). The welcome hamper is really top notch, the jar of home made marmalade is a masterstroke!The hosts are attentive and excellent with communication, the house is easy to find, access very clear. the photos of the exterior don't to it justice. The location is idyllic bur not too remote: peaceful and with sweeping countryside views, but only 10 mins from Sandwich one way and 15 mins from Deal the other, both with excellent supermarkets, shops and restaurants. It's an ideal spot to explore that region of Kent with lots of landmarks to discover. Overall, an excellent cottage, well thought out and a wonderful holiday. we'll absolutely be back!
