Enjoying a rural location in the picturesque Kent Downs National Landscape, this homely lodge within a 7-acre estate is in the perfect position for families to explore the countryside. Wildlife watchers and avid walkers will enjoy the Folkestone Downs and Warren Nature Reserve (both within 6 miles) before spending the afternoon basking on the beach or dipping in the sea. Don’t forget to sample the locally caught fish and chips too. Continue up the coast, and you will discover the landmark White Cliffs of Dover (7.5 miles) with magnificent trails and sights to see. Afterwards, refuel in Dover town with a gastro-style meal, or pick up supplies for a picnic in the grounds of the estate.

On arrival at this peaceful property, take a moment to appreciate its surrounding rural beauty before stepping inside. The heart of the home is the open-plan living space, where you will discover a stylish design and two comfy couches (one of which can be turned into a single sofa bed). The fully fitted modern kitchen is a haven for budding chefs and is equipped with the amenities needed for fuss-free cooking. The central farmhouse-style table with seating for six is ideal for dining or enjoying rounds of cards. Finishing off the ground floor is the handy shower room with a WC. At the end of each day, head upstairs to choose from two bedrooms on the first floor. One room offers twin beds and is completed with an en-suite shower room with WC. The other bedroom on this floor offers three single beds.

Slide the doors open in the living space and step outside where you can enjoy your morning brew or catch up on some light reading. There are also shared gardens to explore. You’ll find a laundry room, children’s play area, tennis court, resident goats and beauty treatments on site. Catering and bike hire are available too, should you fancy treating yourselves. Ample parking can be found in the on-site car park.
