The White Cliffs of Dover are just 7.5 miles away, with dramatic chalk vistas and jaw-dropping sea views. Folkestone, 6 miles away, is perfect for a beach day, with a skate park, promenade, independent shops and a wide choice of places to eat. Sandgate and Mermaid beaches are also within a short drive (8 miles) and perfect for quieter days out. Families will love getting close to the animals at Port Lympne Safari Park or Howletts Wildlife Sanctuary, 14 miles away.

This two-storey rural retreat offers a characterful base for all guests. Step inside to reveal an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with charming, exposed beams, rich colour schemes and comfortable seating. To the right is the well-equipped kitchen, which offers everything you may need to prepare meals. For dining, there is a central table that seats four. Completing this floor is the bathroom with a bath, shower, and WC. This cosy hideaway continues onto the first floor, where you’ll find the only bedroom. It contains five single beds, making it perfect for a close-knit family or group of friends (can add one extra bed in common area on request).

Heading outside, guests are more than welcome to wander the surrounding gardens and use the seating areas. A children’s play area, tennis court, friendly resident goats, and paid-for beauty treatments are ideal for afternoons on site, while the shared laundry room is a handy feature for freshening up clothes. There’s also catering and mountain bike hire if you fancy treating yourselves. The property boasts ample parking in the on-site car park.
