Snaptrip says

Coastguards View is a well-appreciated cottage in Herne Bay, praised for its stunning sea views, spacious and comfortable accommodation, and good proximity to local attractions. Guests have enjoyed the property's warmth, cleanliness, and the thoughtful touches provided by the owners. While some minor maintenance issues and the presence of a single bathroom have been noted, the overall experience remains positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The property generally receives positive remarks for cleanliness, with several guests finding it clean and immaculate. However, there are instances of cleanliness concerns such as cobwebs, dirty floors, and a smelly downstairs toilet, which slightly impact the overall perception.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to the sea, with easy access to Whitstable and Herne Bay. Guests have enjoyed the scenic views and the convenience of local amenities, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and exploration.

Guests find the property comfortable, with special mentions of comfortable beds and sofas. The presence of multiple toilets and showers has been appreciated for larger groups. However, some guests noted issues with noise from neighbours' dogs and the property being cold at times.

The cottage is equipped with modern kitchen appliances, reliable internet, and a smart TV. Guests have mentioned the need for additional bathroom facilities and minor maintenance issues like non-working tumble dryers and ovens, which suggests room for improvement.

While some guests have mentioned thoughtful gestures such as a welcome bottle of wine and quick responses from the owners, there is not enough consistent information about gifts or additional thoughtful touches to accurately score this category.

This could be a problem for large people. We had an excellent family (plus dog) holiday and loved the proximity of the sea and beach.

The accommodation is very comfortable and relaxed, absolutely perfect for our stay with two very well behaved dogs. We would love to have a return visit.

Nearby caravan site was useful for entertainment and for top up food shopping. Neighbours very friendly and host was quick to respond to issues. All in all we enjoyed our stay here.
