No smoking.. Beautiful country cottage set on its own in a perfect village location of Hernhill just 6 miles in each direction to Faversham, Whitstable and Canterbury only 10 -15 minutes’ drive away. This cosy cottage has beautiful and comfortable country styling and countryside views, on the edge of a pretty village with no immediate neighbours. When the owners are not away they live next door which is completely separate. You will completely have the main cottage entirely to yourselves with private access to the gardens which are for your use only. There is great outdoor seating areas for both dining and relaxing. The location is great as it is in the countryside, but have great access to the seaside being only 6 miles in each direction to the beautiful seaside town of Whitstable, the city of Canterbury and the lovely market town of Faversham.

Poppys Cottage is a home from home. From first arrival, greeted by Theresa who is very friendly and chatty. The welcome pack was a delicious, very generous surprise. Located in the beautiful Kent countryside, yet within easy reach of Faversham and Canterbury or the Kent coast. Very quiet and peaceful. The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped. We had no problems whatsoever, although Theresa emphasised that that she was there if needed. A thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing week and will be planning a revisit.Highly recommended

We had an amazing stay at Poppy’s Cottage! The house was immaculate and the gardens beautiful. A lot of thought has gone in to every detail - comfy beds, well equipped kitchen…literally everything you could ever need for a great stay. The welcome hamper was the best and most generous we’ve ever had, and Theresa and Ian are wonderful hosts. It’s in a great location too, with everything being within easy reach, while still being extremely quiet and peaceful. We were lucky enough to see the resident stoat while we were there on 3 of the mornings, zipping through the garden to get to the fields beyond - a magical experience!We loved our week away and if we ever come back to Kent, we know where we’ll be staying!

A lovely spacious cottage, light and airy and well equipped. We were delighted by a bumper welcome pack, many thanks to the owners! It has a very nice sunny garden, with mature shrubs giving privacy. Just one point to note - watch your head on the eaves if you are on the tall side.The cottage is near many wonderful places to visit - we would recommend using the excellent rail network in the area to visit the larger coastal towns (car parking is easy in the nearby Faversham station). Whitstable is a gem.
