This is the middle cottage on the St Catherine’s Lighthouse site and offers accommodation for four guests. It features entrance hall, sitting room, fully fitted kitchen with dining table and shower room.

St Catherine's Lighthouse is situated just outside the hamlet of Niton, approximately 10 minutes' drive from the popular coastal resort of Ventnor, the southernmost point of the Isle of Wight.
The site comprises a terrace of three self-catering, former lighthouse keepers' cottages, Landward Cottage, sleeping four guests, Gurnard Cottage, sleeping five guests and Penda Cottage, sleeping five guests.
There is an excellent real ale pub a 10-minute walk up the hill, The Buddle Smugglers Inn.

You may unload next to Penda Cottage (nearest to parking area) but please remember to park to the rear of the cottage to respect the privacy and views of others. Parking to the rear can also be accessed via the back door and through your private courtyard.
Guests are reminded they are renting a heritage building, therefore certain features such as steps, stairs and floor levels may not comply with that of a modern building. As such, we would advise guests to acquaint themselves with the premises on arrival and exercise caution accordingly.
Guests should be aware that the lighthouses and equipment need regular and sometimes emergency maintenance. Therefore visits by maintenance staff may occur at any time during the year. However, staff will do their best to ensure guest privacy at all times.
Access roads to the lighthouse site are narrow with limited passing places and, dependent on the season and site, there is the possibility of overhanging vegetation due to cutting restrictions during bird breeding seasons or other environmental reasons.
A barbecue is not provided, however guests are welcome to bring their own, subject to adhering to the safety precautions set out in the arrival information.

not sure where to start with this as this was brought for my wife’s 50th bday present as she has always wanted to stay by the lighthouse however it was deffo not the best experience at all and I’m really gutted too be fair Problems are as followed Back door as you arrive and go in the door doesn’t close fully and leaves an inch gap leaving the cold coming in Smell of paint was very overpowering to the point you had to leave windows open The front door did eventually open however the floor was very wet as the rain had been coming in and with the amount of paint on it when shutting had to be slammed closed and forced shut Also notice about the road would of been nice as ideally you needed a 4x4 due to the road dipping very badly and the car grounding out causing damage and leaving the light house going up the hill you had to force the car up as was wheel spinning again no one had said any of this to us either WiFi worked as and when and tv kept going off use to mainly location and would go off again would of been nice to of had the heads up
