Calbourne Watermill the island s only working mill is a popular attraction which not only offers 35 acres of gardens but also has an adventure golf course a museum of rural life a boating pond children s play facilities and a cafe. Another excellent family-friendly attraction can be found just four miles west of the village: Tapnell Farm Park which is home to a wide range of animals as well as offering indoors and outdoor play areas a well-regarded restaurant and an outdoor pursuits centre. Upon entering this traditional cottage guests are able leave their coats and boots in the handy boot room before making themselves at home in the lounge. In this attractive room comfortable sofas sit under the beamed ceiling next to the inglenook feature fireplace allowing guests to relax in front of the TV/DVD. The separate dining room overlooks the front garden of the cottage and leads through to the kitchen which has been finished in a country-style and is equipped with an electric oven and hob microwave two fridges freezer dishwasher and washing machine. The bathroom with its shower over the bath and WC is also located on the ground floor whilst the three bedrooms can be found upstairs. Two of the cottage s bedrooms are light and airy double rooms whilst there is also a bunk bedroom that is perfect for children. Outside the property benefits from a spacious enclosed garden to the rear of the property where guests will find a patio area with garden furniture as well as a lawn which is ideal for both playing and relaxing. In addition to this there is a further garden to the front of the property. There is roadside parking for one car on the lane next to the cottage subject to availability. Please note that due to the thatched roof fires and BBQs are not allowed inside the property or in the garden.
