The property is moments from open forest where it is possible to walk or cycle for miles along the New Forest trails and see the New Forest ponies, cattle and donkeys as they enjoy the freedom of roaming the forest. It is quite normal to see New Forest ponies walking past the house and in the pretty village High Street which is just a few minutes’ walk away. The village itself has a good variety of independent shops (Greengrocers, Butchers, Bakers) as well as several cafés and a Post Office. A selection of restaurants, hotels with spa facilities and pubs are also within easy walking distance of the property.
If you plan to travel by train Brockenhurst main line station is within a 10 minute walk with regular trains to London, Bournemouth, Lymington and Southampton. It is also possible to hire bicycles from the station.
