The Cosy Cow Shed in Hailsham receives high praise for its spaciousness, cleanliness, and comfort. Guests appreciate the friendly hosts, Helen and Ian, and the property's proximity to local attractions and nature. The cottage is well-equipped for a relaxing stay, with a large kitchen, comfortable bed, and cosy living room. The secure parking and nearby pub add convenience, while the location is ideal for dog-walking and exploring East Sussex.

Guests consistently mention the cleanliness of the cottage, describing it as 'spacious clean comfortable' and 'fastidiously clean'. There is one mention of a pet odour, but it is noted that the property was visually immaculate.

The location is frequently highlighted as ideal, with easy access to dog-walking environments, history, castles, beaches, and nature. It is also convenient for visiting nearby towns like Eastbourne.

Comfort is a strong point, with guests finding the accommodation comfortable and the bed extremely so. The presence of a log burner and the property being warm and cosy are also noted.

For the past 18 years, we've had the pleasure of staying in various cottages for our Christmas holidays, in locations throughout England, Wales, and Scotland. We compared the Cosy Cow Shed with all our previous experiences. Because the hosts were also on a break and weren't home, we didn't meet until later. We're not first-time travelers and we made our own arrangements with minor imperfections. Plus points: the large kitchen/diner with all the amenities you could wish for. A lovely fireplace that made it very easy to light a fire. The local pub is within walking distance. Secure parking on the property. The location is ideal for hikers on the 1066 route. There are a few things that could make the stay even more enjoyable, but the overall experience made it a wonderful stay.

A very comfortable cottage in an ideal location for our holiday which is mainly walking to explore new places & the countryside/coast. It had all the essentials we needed to come back to after a long day walking, including a very welcoming pub 5 minutes walk away. We would recommend the cottage & may well return here in the future. Thank you Ian & Helen
