About this property

A lovely first floor apartment located close to the centre of Bexhill-on-Sea, only a short distance from the sea front, resting on a delightful residential street overlooking Egerton Park. Perfect for couples wishing to spend some quality time away from the hustle and bustle; there is a real sense of charm about this light and airy retreat. A flight of stairs takes you into the generous entrance hall, where the master bedroom awaits, laced in pastel colours with neat bedding and a pleasant outlook over the garden to tie it all together. This is a calm and serene place to wake up to during your stay. The lounge/diner has an almost traditional feel, a social setup with plenty of seating to choose from and high characterful ceilings. A key feature of the layout is the table for two situated next to the bay window, welcoming natural light inside. Here you can sit back and admire the views of the park, and you catch a glimpse of the sea at the end of the road. The kitchen is tucked away next door, boasting cream units and a small balcony which again, overlooks the natural landscape. A bathroom lies a few steps up, with grey décor, and a rainfall shower to finish the interior beautifully. The town of Bexhill-on-Sea offers excellent sporting opportunities, with golfing, sea fishing, sailing and windsurfing available, and for walkers, the 1066 Country Walk. A 5 minute walk takes you to the De La Warr Pavilion with it's exhibitions and concerts to enjoy. Within easy travelling distance from Bexhill-on-Sea are the historic market towns of Rye, Hastings and Battle with its abbey, whilst further afield is Lewes, Brighton and the South Downs Way. A home-away-from-home in a memorable village location.

The coastal town of Bexhill-on-Sea is situated between Eastbourne and Hastings, and boasts a two mile promenade, the world famous De La Warr Pavilion, shops, museums, gardens and a motoring heritage centre, plus golf, fishing, water sports and the 1066 walk can all be enjoyed. Close by is Battle, with its Abbey, and Rye, with antique shops and tea rooms, plus Royal Tunbridge Wells is well worth a visit.
