Coachmans Cottage offers a charming and rustic retreat, ideal for couples and dog owners exploring the New Forest and nearby Bournemouth. Guests praise the well-equipped facilities, relaxing hot tub, and peaceful location. Thoughtful touches from the owners, such as welcome treats, are appreciated, though not guaranteed. While most found the cottage clean and comfortable, a few noted issues with cleanliness and sofa comfort. Overall, the property provides a cosy and memorable stay with excellent access to local attractions.

Most guests found the cottage clean and well-presented, but one review reported significant cleanliness issues, including dust, cobwebs, and dirty kitchenware. The majority of feedback is positive, but the negative experience lowers the overall score.

The location is highly praised for its quiet setting and proximity to the New Forest and Bournemouth, making it ideal for walkers and those seeking a peaceful break.

Guests generally found the cottage cosy and suitable for two, with a rustic living room and comfortable atmosphere. However, some mentioned discomfort with the sofa and bed, and a desire for better heating in the shower room.

Facilities such as the hot tub, utility room, dog shower, and thoughtful extras are well received. Minor suggestions include more saucepans and a larger sofa, but overall, the amenities meet guests' needs.

Several guests appreciated welcome gifts like cream tea and prosecco, as well as dog-friendly touches. Please note, these gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.

The place looked lovely, but the place was left dirty, there was thick dust all around the TV stand. And cobwebs all over the cottage. We had to wash all of the pots pans they had grees all over them and cups and glasses was dirty. The sofa that was down stairs was a pullout bed, it really wasn't comfortable at all. We tryed putting the pillows from the bed to make it comfortable.. it didn't really work. And the bed was very uncomfortable too. I sat on the end of the bed to put my slippers on and disappeared in to the bed. When we had a look there was broken slats that had been duct taped together... another disappointment was that people was not kleening up after there dogs. The septic tanks had to be emptied another day, that left a horrible smell . We decided to leave on the Thursday. We had payed until Sunday . we was both very disappointed, this was our 1st wedding anniversary. We will not be returning. Or recommending.
