Llangynog 2 miles. This stone-built, detached barn conversion has been successfully converted into a beautiful holiday cottage, situated on the owners' 350-acre sheep farm, in the stunning Pennant Valley, two miles from the village of Llangynog. This Llangynog cottage boasts exposed beams and wall timbers, five delightful bedrooms with two offering en-suite shower rooms, plus the spacious well-equipped kitchen is a pleasure to cook in, and the two sitting rooms have warming woodburners, which create a cosy and welcoming atmosphere. The enclosed garden is perfect for dining alfresco, whilst enjoying the wonderful views of the Pennant Valley and Berwyn mountain range.
Only two miles away is the pleasant village of Llangynog, which has two pubs, both serving food, plus one mile away is a downhill mountain bike centre where exciting challenges await. From this Llangynog cottage experience the Melangell Pilgrimage walk, the breathtaking scenery around Lake Vyrnwy and the Tanat Valley, and the nearby Pistyll Rhaeadr waterfall, one of the seven wonders of Wales. This superb Llangynog cottage is a perfect retreat for families or friends in an away from it all countryside location.
The village of Llangynog is set in the Berwyn Mountains and is surrounded by wooded hills and valleys. The village has two pubs, both of which serve good food and the area is excellent for walks and cycle rides.

It is a mix of traditional and modern with "cottage" decor rubbing shoulders with modern electronics with good wi fi and kitchen appliances. A great range of dvds, books and games are available but fortunately the weather was kind enough for us not to have to lean into those. Hot tub provided an excellent, picturesque view down the valley. Your hosts, Mr amd Mrs Jones completed the break with their warm and welcoming manner and we would not hesitate to book again

With 8 adults over three generations (and a dog) it really had something for everyone. Very spacious accommodation with everything you need. Night time Hot tub was fantastic followed by warming through in front of the log burner. Would love to return in the future. The host recommend The Sunday Carvery Roast at THE WYNNSTAY ARMS in LLANRAEADR-YM-MOCHNANT and it was excellent. (pre booking is advised). Thank you to all those in and around LLANGYNOG for making us all feel so welcome.

If you love the slow life, peace and quiet then this is the place for you. On a working farm where the hosts are always happy to help you with anything you might need, the barn is full of everything you will need to make your stay incredible! Highly recommended! âºï¸
