The village has shops, pubs, places to eat, miniature railway, a riverside golf course and the Tree Top Adventure High Ropes Course, and is home to The Snowdonia National Park Visitor Centre, as well as being the start of the beautiful Conwy Valley which leads to the coast and the lovely towns of Llandudno and Conwy.

Really well stocked, with all the kitchen essentials you could need.

There are log burners in all the living spaces. But the heating is ticking over in the background so they are not needed unless the outside temperature drops below say 10 degrees. The accommodation was large enough to comfortably hold 3 small families and 2 guests. The place was spotless and the kitchen well equipped. The ceramic hob for us gas cooking types was a bit awkward but nothing that couldn't be overcome in order to cook Christmas dinner. All bedrooms had an end suite toilet and wash basin with 1 shower and 1 shower bathroom. Great location I only wish the weather was kinder to have allowed us to explore the area more than we did. The pizzeria BTW near the railway station is amongst the best I've tasted. We will be going back either as a group or as a couple.

The position of the house is handy to access amenities and with the repairs on the bridge opposite this will be even more convenient. Having the garden at the back of the property to toilet the dogs for a limited time was really handy and easier as they remained contained. Thanks for the welcome pack and decorating the house in Autumnal themed decorations- kids appreciated this! Also, thank you for sending texts of possible local attractions. Hope to return in the future!
