Guests say

Robin Cottage in the Peak District & Derbyshire Dales receives high praise for its stunning scenery, cosy and well-equipped interiors, and friendly hosts. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches, including a well-stocked kitchen and welcome treats. Despite some minor comments about garden access and duvet weights, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing a desire to return.

Guests consistently note the cottage's immaculate condition, highlighting its cleanliness and well-kept nature. The property is frequently described as very clean, which suggests a high standard of hygiene and maintenance.

The location is celebrated for its quietness, stunning views, and proximity to local attractions and walks. While the garden's accessibility is mentioned, it does not detract significantly from the location's overall appeal.

Reviewers find the cottage to be warm, cosy, and comfortable, with effective heating and comfortable beds. The presence of a secure garden for dogs and the provision of a high chair on request indicate a comfortable stay for both families and pet owners.

The cottage is praised for being well-equipped, especially the kitchen, and for amenities like Netflix and FreeSat television. The mention of a well-stocked kitchen and the availability of a high chair suggest that the facilities meet guests' needs effectively.

Guests appreciate the thoughtful extras, such as welcome treats and a festive hamper, although it is politely noted that such gifts are a delightful surprise and not a guaranteed feature. The hosts' helpfulness and approachability also contribute to the sense of thoughtfulness.

A rural, quiet location with distant views out of every window. I genuinely wish I could live there. Book with no hesitation.

The host is very friendly. The double bedroom is quite small (the twin is much bigger) and the garden area with picnic table is not directly accessible from the cottage so we didn't feel able to eat al fresco. But those are minor points, overall the cottage is very good, and a great base for visiting the Staffordshiore Moorlands and western edge of the White Peak District.

The location is very handy for getting to Alton Towers and all the surrounding areas to visit. The cottage comes with everything you would need also comfortable get that you have your own garden it was good for our Lhasa Apso dog. Outside at the front door the sun was shining and lovely to watch the sunset sitting on the bench with a glass of wine in hand. Would would highly recommend the cottage.
