The cottage was warm, cosy and clean. Nice touches of leaving us wine, a Christmas log and mince pies.. Christmas tree and decorations helped to make it more christmassy… Garden was safe and inclosed for our two small dogs. Lots of blankets, towels and a well equipped kitchen . My job is looking after holiday let’s so have a good eye and know what to look for. Only thing I would say is that maybe some teabags would be good to be left … would definitely stay again. We enjoyed our stay and loved the little cottage .

A great place to low-key chill for a while. Convenient for the hills and just half an hour by train to Manchester. Plenty of decent pubs and places to eat, also Lidl and Wetherspoons in easy walking distance if you're on a tight budget.
