As we had our two dogs with us it would have been better if the fencing at the rear was closer to the ground and patio area had a solid fence/wall .otherwise we had a lovely stay in such a nice old farmhouse.

Superb spacious, warm, immaculately clean farmhouse with large rooms and very comfortable furniture and beds. Well equipped and easy parking. Dog friendly accommodation with patio area and enclosed garden, helpful owners nearby.Very peaceful area with lovely views across valley and sheep farm and short walk via footpath into Whaley Bridge, although does involve a short stretch of steep hill. The path is well made and not muddy. Plenty of pubs and takeaways and local Tesco. Great location for visiting the wonderful Peak District. Would definitely recommend and stay again if visiting the area.

What a lovely holiday cottage! The photos don't begin to do it justice. Thank you so much for the wine and basics. Easy to walk into town and public transport when we needed it. Good local shopping. Great enclosed garden with outside seating (sorry if you were disturbed by the dogs barking at Shaun and Dave the sheep - they are OK with horses and cows but they seem to think sheep are big dogs)... Plenty of great walks nearby and a little further afield. Would certainly return,
