I can only reiterate what previous reviews have stated. The cottage is comfortable and furnished nicely, 10 minute walk to the town centre but let down by some fixable issues - bathrooms need mould removing, downstairs double bedroom needs some hooks to hang clothes up, patio area needs weeding, no instructions on where rubbish goes or bin day, kitchen needs some form of heating, visitor book for people to leave suggestions on where to go/eat etc would be nice. We found the Old Sun Inn lovely for food and drink and had an excellent indian takeaway from Buxton Tandoori, visited Bakewell and Matlock and Poole’s Cavern. Tegg’s Nose Country Park has some lovely walks and views over Cheshire.

Needs small table in kitchen and hooks behind bedroom doors and entry room. Mould on upstairs bathroom windowsill. Weeds on patio. No recycling/ rubbish info. No tel. no. for Mr Kay. Nicely decorated but let down by little things.

The cottage was a large property with a closed back yard, great for the dogs. The kitchen area was freezing with insufficient utensils. All but the downstairs shower had very weak water flows and on the stairs there was a gripper spike poking through which resulted in a foot injury whilst there. However the location and large parking area and great Wifi connection were all good positives as was the downstairs utility room area for sorting the dogs out prior to coming back into the main areas of the property.
