Really nice cottage situated close to the Monsal Trail. A friendly place with access to nice pubs and a cafe. The cottage was well kept and had a lovely log burner. Bed was comfy and shower was great. Had everything you need for a lovely stay.

The cottage is in a lovely position, but we felt that it needed a lot of tlc. The microwave didn't work, knives weren't sharp, one kitchen drawer wasn't attached. The shower head above the bath didn't stay in its holder, so water sprayed everywhere. We had issues with the toilet, not removing contents. It could be that because the place is up for sale that the owners aren't giving it the love it needs, but it definitely does.

Such a beautiful house, full of charm and character, we particularly loved the wood burning stove, made the house so warm and cosy. The cottage is lovely, spacious, very clean and tidy. There were lots of little helpful notes, which we found very helpful. Great value for money and would highly recommend.
