It was a home from home stay, where every thing you could possibly need was there. We enjoyed cosy nights in by the fire and the bed was perfect for us. The cottage was based in a fabulous location and we did a few walks from the door, including Chrome Hill. We also completed a few mountain bike routes around local reservoirs and across moors up to Froggatt Edge. We will definitely love to come back to Rose Cottage again. Thank You

From the very first moment when you find after a long journey, that you can back up right to the front door to unload the car, we found this lovely cottage to be perfect. The kitchen was so cleverly designed, it was a pleasure to use and everything worked and it had all we needed. The 2 soft sofas were so comfy , hooks and space for boots , cute little doors to deter doggy explorers upstairs, slept so deeply in the king size bed ! Even the little garden was just enough and with seating front and back you could always follow the sun ! Well done, it was a pleasure to return each day and know we had all we needed to relax .

The only problem was that we could not get bbc or itv on the television. This may have been caused by the previous tenants however there were no instructions as to how to operate the TV. We would suggest that the instructions on how to get there travelling from Ashbourne are changed so that you approach the property from the B5053 this cuts out lots of narrow lanes.
