The well-designed kitchen with its granite worktops and attention to detail makes whipping up a special meal a breeze, and gorgeous countryside views from almost every angle of the lodge will make you feel like you are a million miles away from it all.
Step out on to a private courtyard area to discover your very own hot tub with wonderful views of the beautiful landscaped garden. Lie back and soak the hours away or indulge in a bottle of something bubbly and watch the sun set.
Buxton has much to offer including its spectacular Pavilion Gardens, the amazing Devonshire Dome with its Victorian spa and opera house, as well as unique shops, bistros, restaurants, wine bars and pubs catering for all tastes. Maybe book a visit to a show at the Buxton Opera House during your stay, a fantastic venue for all sorts of shows including comedians, plays, operas and children’s shows. There is an abundance of places to visit from stately homes such as Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall, together with many great villages. The adventure park of Alton Towers is well worth a visit, or enjoy visiting caverns, cycling along trails, golf at Buxton or stride out on one of the numerous walks directly from your doorstep. Lovely cottage, very comfortable and peaceful. Had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. The only shame was we couldn’t make more use of the hot tub as it was just too hot!
