Front garden with patio and garden furniture and barbecue. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. . This cosy cottage has been renovated in 2022 to a very high standard, where great thought and craftmanship has gone into every aspect making it a fantastic base for your Peak District base.
The ground floor comprises of a small but adequate kitchen with dishwasher and all the equipment you should require. The sitting room offers comfortable seating, TV and wood burner effect electric fire, there is also a dining table and chairs. The bathroom is also located on the ground floor with shower over bath. Upstairs are two bedrooms, the master offering a double bed and the second bedroom has two singles. Outside there is an outhouse storing washing machine/tumbler and sink. There is parking for 1 car and an open patio area with outdoor furniture and BBQ overlooking the village.
Taddington village is in the heart of the Peak District and it has a great pub serving fantastic food within walking distance of the property. You can head out on foot on endless walks or explore the local towns of Bakewell, Buxton and Chatsworth plus lots more!

Beautiful cottage. The refurbishment was done to an incredible standard. Loads of solid wood features and wonderfully designed. If we lived nearer I’d definitely be asking for the carpenters details. We loved it! We always stay in the area at this time of year, for my husband’s birthday. We go to chatsworth for the Christmas market, gardens and lights. Very close but Taddington is teeny so no local amenities. Nice walks though, and a natural well up on the hill. Fabulous stay!

A lovely cottage in a nice village. There is a nice pub about 5 mins walk that does great food and a some ales with a friendly atmosphere. We found the property clean and tidy on arrival with all requirements for the weeks stay. I would recommend Johnson's cottage for a nice weekend or weeks stay close to Bakewell Buxton and Chatsworth House
