Absolutely ideal cottage for exploring the Peak District. Spotlessly clean, warm, well-equipped. It felt like we were away from it all in the countryside yet there was so much to do in the area, either walks from the door or various attractions and places of interest a short drive away. Easily filled a week with plenty left to come back and see. Great place for dogs as well, with an enclosed garden. I loved looking out at the sheep in the next field, and the rabbits running around the garden. Owner was very friendly and helpful too. Fab holiday!

Lovely little cotrage but does need a few items added. 1. shelf in bathrooms for toothbrush etc2. Shelf in shower for toiletries 3. Towel rail in kitchen for tea towel and hand towelPlease note the water pressure is awful only one shower or toilet or sink can be used at a time. The electric shower in twin room goes cold to boiling hot and the cut out doesn’t work so under no circumstances let a child use the shower.

First class accommodation. Very well equipped and very comfortable. Quiet location, surrounded by sheep, lambs and miles of dry stone walls!Convenient for Bakewell, Buxton and Ashbourne.Didn't like being asked to strip the beds and gather up dirty linen. I've never been asked to do this in a hotel!Good local pubs, one in walking distance. Great walks aplentyHighly recommended
