Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches, spaciousness, and excellent location for exploring the Peak District. The garden and log burner are highlights, and the hosts are frequently described as helpful and attentive. While most reviews are highly positive, a few mention minor maintenance and cleanliness issues, and the steep garden steps may not suit everyone. Overall, the cottage offers a delightful base for families, couples, and dog owners seeking a relaxing countryside break.

The majority of guests found the cottage clean and tidy, with fresh towels and bedding provided. However, one review noted issues with kitchen cleanliness and pet hair, which slightly lowers the score. Most feedback is positive, indicating a generally high standard.

Guests frequently describe the cottage as cosy, comfortable, and spacious, with a warm atmosphere and thoughtful extras like blankets and a log burner. Beds and living spaces are highlighted as particularly comfortable.

The cottage is well-equipped with kitchen essentials, parking, a log burner, and a secure garden. Some minor maintenance issues (e.g., garden steps, kitchen cupboards, heating) were mentioned, but overall facilities are highly rated.

Many guests mention thoughtful touches such as welcome packs, dog treats, scones, and well-stocked supplies. While these gestures are appreciated, please note that such gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.
