Venture into the well-equipped kitchen with oven, microwave and fridge/freezer, to conjure up a flavoursome feast for your guests. Gather around the dining table for three as you tuck-in to a delicious meal, whilst discussing plans for the adventures ahead. If you are lucky enough to have sunshine, why not make dinner an alfresco affair and fire up the barbecue on the patio? As the evening cools, indulge in a toasty shower before catching your rest in the sumptuous family room with king-size and single, perfect for a restful night. Awake from a leisurely slumber, before preparing for the day in style and setting out for the day. Head into the historic village of Youlgreave, where you will find three welcoming pubs, all serving tasty home-cooked meals and local ales, ideal for those evenings where you fancy a night off from the kitchen, as well as two well-stocked shops and an impressive medieval church. Nearby, you will find the fascinating Arbor Low Stone Circle and Gib Hill Barrow, a prehistoric monument which rests near an ancient burial mound. Next stop is the delightful market town of Bakewell, where you can delve into the town’s history at The Old House heritage museum, soak up your beautiful surroundings on the historic Bakewell Bridge, or sample the local delight of the scrumptious Bakewell Tart! Be sure make a stop at the grand stately home of Chatsworth House, which houses a superb art collection and is surrounded by lush grounds with a farmyard, playground and labyrinth.
