Easy access to everywhere but not busy, just people passing on foot to and from Peak Cavern. Parking is 200 yds away so manageable. The house is warm and cosy with everything you need for two people. Unfortunately the neighbour across the road has a 20ft laurel type hedge so it's not as light as it might otherwise be.

Clean and well kitted out for 2 people. The car park is literally a minute walk away and the cottage is only a few minutes walk into the main part of the village. Internet worked fine. Good location for walks. We had to take 2 cars due to location of work and the second car was parked in the main visitor car park for 3 nights and it only cost about £8 as I used the app. Would stay at the cottage again if we visited again.

Every little detail was provided and the owners made sure we knew exactly how to get there and where to park. The ability to stoke up the log burner was lovely on a cold evening although there was central heating so mice and warm. Bed and bedding was so comfy slept like a log. Would highly recommend fir anyone wanting a stay in Castleton, which was also amazing with great walks from the door and lovely pubs, cafes, restaurants and shops.
