Enclosed lawned garden with patio, sitting-out area garden furniture. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. This lovely old stone farmhouse enjoys uninterrupted views across open farmland from a quiet village location. From here you can walk down to Bradford Dale and Lathkill Dale or into the village centre with its three pubs and a few small shops. The garden is at the front and catches the sun all day, so is a lovely place to sit and admire the view. Inside, thick curved walls, a wood burning stove and an open fire all add character, combined with a modern kitchen and bathroom.

We had a lovely few days at Brooklands farm. It was very close to some nice eating places, the bullshead and the ginger nut cafe. The owners of the cottage were extremely friendly and helpful.

Everything you need for a comfortable stay is found in tge cottage,but remember to bring a hair dryer.Amy is very friendly and amenable. Please think this is a country cottage and you will encounter spiders!!!.Great location.

The location is wonderful - friendly farm and amazing view. The village setting is excellent with good amenities- super coffee shop post office and Methodist church. Lots of lovely local walks especially loved the river valleys The cottage is comfortable despite parts feeling a bit dated but actually traditional farm cottage, and you can feel relaxed. Owners very helpful. Though we had cold weather for June it was one of the best holidays.
