Enclosed lawned garden with patio, sitting-out area garden furniture. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. This lovely old stone farmhouse enjoys uninterrupted views across open farmland from a quiet village location. From here you can walk down to Bradford Dale and Lathkill Dale or into the village centre with its three pubs and a few small shops. The garden is at the front and catches the sun all day, so is a lovely place to sit and admire the view. Inside, thick curved walls, a wood burning stove and an open fire all add character, combined with a modern kitchen and bathroom.

We enjoyed a very relaxing few days at Brooklands Farm to celebrate my daughter's birthday. It was also the first time her rescue dog, Sid, had been on holiday. He loved it!

Positives, a nice cottage, excellent location in a really nice village and close to several market towns. A nice bathroom and 2 nice bedrooms. 3 pubs in the village ( great food at the Bulls Head) and 3 cafes/ venues serving coffee and food.Negatives, ground floor rooms with dated furniture, the garden was full of weeds and there is no wi fi. Overall we had a very nice stay.

Super clean and comfortable. Cottage quite dated in furniture but for us it made it quaint. Absolutely everything you needed. Three local pubs and a lovely little shop. Don't know what food was like in pubs as we didn't eat in them. It was lovely to be left some wood and fire ready as it was chilly one night. We had a visit from a horse who put his head over the next doors wall. Lovely to see chickens and geese too. Had a lovely stay. Thanks 😊
