The market town of Ashbourne, ‘Gateway to the Peak District’, and Dovedale are only 3 miles away where guests will find a good choice of shops, restaurants and pubs. Carsington Water offers sailing, windsurfing, rafting and canoeing and is an ideal place to spend a day out in the Derbyshire countryside. This is a wonderful location for walking and touring with Chatsworth House, Matlock, Buxton, Bakewell and the Potteries only a short drive away. Shop 3 miles, restaurant 1 mile and pub 500 yards.

Great location for The Peak District and Derbyshire, overall good accommodation, secure garden if you are travelling with pets and an excellent CAMRA pub down the road both dog and human friendly.
