The CreameryMy husband and I were extremely disappointed with this accommodation. On arrival the front door was dirty, and weeds were growing around it. On entering there was a strong smell of dogs, which disappeared when windows were opened. However, the cleanliness of the cottage was very poor. The kitchen has open shelves for the crockery, and these were covered in crumbs and dead flies. We had to wash everything before using. There were cobwebs in the bathroom, although the toilet, basin and bath were clean. The heater in the bathroom was chipped and rusty. The shower curtain was far too long and was a trip hazard. There were a number of rugs that were curling and presented a further trip hazard. I was looking forward to spending time in the conservatory, but it was impossible to get into and was obviously being used to store garden furniture. The only plus of our holiday was that the weather was excellent and we were able to undertake some lovely walks from the door.

We enjoyed our stay, but feel the cottage needs a thorough clean throughout. Also, we didn't receive the welcome pack that was mentioned in the booking details.
