The cottage is well-equipped for a comfortable stay, with easy access to scenic walks and a highly recommended local pub. While most found the property clean and comfortable, a few mentioned minor issues with the mattress, sofas, and kitchen equipment. Overall, it is a delightful base for dog owners and couples seeking a relaxing countryside break.

Most guests found the cottage clean and tidy, though a few noted a dog smell on arrival and an oven that could benefit from a deeper clean. These were minor issues and did not detract significantly from the overall experience.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to the Peak District, local walks, and a welcoming village pub. Guests appreciated the peaceful setting and easy access to nearby attractions.

The cottage is described as cosy and comfortable, with spacious living areas and a secure garden. However, several guests mentioned the small double bed and an uncomfortable mattress, as well as tired sofas, which affected their comfort.

We enjoyed our stay, but feel the cottage needs a thorough clean throughout. Also, we didn't receive the welcome pack that was mentioned in the booking details.
