Snaptrip says

Swallows Nest in Macclesfield is consistently praised for its cleanliness, peacefulness, and friendly hosts. Guests enjoy the beautiful scenery, on-site ice cream, and farm animals. The studio apartment is ideal for couples seeking a relaxing stay in the Peak District, with many looking forward to returning.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Guests frequently mention the cleanliness of the accommodation, describing it as 'spotlessly clean' and 'very clean', indicating a high standard of hygiene and care.

The location is highly regarded for its beautiful surroundings and proximity to sightseeing in the Peak District, making it a fantastic spot for guests.

The property is described as comfortable and cosy, suitable for 1 or 2 people. However, one review mentioned the studio-style layout was unexpected, suggesting a slight deduction in comfort for some.

Facilities are well-received with an on-site ice cream parlour, tea rooms, and a craft studio. The working farm adds to the charm, though no specific mention of maintenance was made.

While guests appreciate the kind gestures such as free ice-cream vouchers, there is not enough information to assess the consistency of such gifts, and they should not be expected on every visit.
