Nestling within a secluded location, set on a hillside on the outskirts of this tiny hamlet, Isaacs Cottage provides a tranquil and secluded holiday setting with stunning views across the Allen Valley.  This spacious farm cottage has exposed beams, is well equipped and comfortably furnished matching the style of a typical Northumbrian farmhouse.  There is a safe outdoor play area in the garden adjacent to the cottage and ample parking.  Nature lovers will love the opportunity to spot rare plant and animal life with many walks, trails and cycle paths on the doorstep. Located in the south of the county, this is an excellent base from which to explore Northumberland.  Nearby Allendale offers a number of small shops, pubs, cafes and tea rooms as well as a small brewery and the picturesque market town of Hexham with its ancient Abbey, medieval history and an array of good quality shops, restaurants, antique shops is within a short drive.

The ancient ruins and fortresses of Hadrian's Wall which stretch across the North of England from Cumbria to the North East coast are also within very close reach as is England's highest narrow gauge railway at Alston and the and the Lake District is reached within an exhilarating panoramic drive.  This cosy farmhouse offers a welcoming retreat at the end of a busy day discovering the historical and the industrial heritage of this wild and scenic area.
