The flat has a contemporary kitchen equipped with everything you will need to create a romantic evening meal together. Down the hallway is a large open planning living area set around a cosy gas fire, perfect for spending time together during the evenings. The property sleeps two in a spacious and light-filled double bedroom. Towards the back of the property is a modern bathroom with a large walk-in shower. Outside is a wonderful enclosed patio and garden area, ideal for indulging in some alfresco dining during the warmer months. There is street parking, with permit, plus ample space for bikes. Located a short ten-minute walk from the town centre, you will never be too far from popular cafes, bars, restaurants, pubs and shops. The beach is just a short ten-minute walk away. There are plenty of activities for you to enjoy including horseback tours, hiking, cycling and exploring historical landmarks like the Elizabethan Walls and Paxton House. The railway station is ten minutes away, ideal for travelling to the property or for guests to embark on an unforgettable day excursion. Trains to the nearby cities of Edinburgh and Newcastle run frequently. This is a spectacular apartment for two guests wishing to spend some time in Berwick Upon Tweed.

Berwick is England’s most northerly town and changed hands 13 times whilst the English and the Scots fought for around 400 years for control of the Borders! The history is delightfully shown in the town’s museum. Nowadays this small coastal town retains much of its charm, with narrow streets enclosed within Elizabethan walls and walks along these offer views over the coast and river estuary to Bamburgh Castle and Holy Island. The town even boasts some medieval parts and the most Georgian architecture in any English town.
