Once the home of the village blacksmith, this pretty, 200 year old stone cottage has been lovingly modernised to a high standard. This property is ideal for small families or groups of four. Be charmed by the pan tile roof and quaint front garden as you arrive at the property, before heading inside and popping on the kettle in the thoughtfully designed fully-equipped kitchen. Wander through to the living/dining room, light the fire, with the provided starter pack, and relax on the large corner sofa whilst enjoying some of your favourite shows on the TV as you discuss your plans for the remainder of your holiday. Make your way through to the main hallway to find each of the bedrooms, as well as the family bathroom. The first of the bedrooms is a pretty twin bedroom decorated with pastel tones and white furniture; as you wake in this bright bedroom, you will feel energised and ready for the day ahead. At the end of the night, retire to the double bedroom to get some much needed rest. When the morning arrives, stroll down the hallway to the family bathroom where you can draw a warm bath or indulge in a rejuvenating shower before a busy day exploring the area. Take your morning brew out into the garden, as you take a seat at the outdoor dining area and enjoy the fresh Northumberland air. The causeway to Holy Island is only 10 minutes away, the Heritage Coast with its wonderful vast, sandy beaches, and the impressive castles of Bamburgh, Lindisfarne, Dunstanburgh and Alnwick are also all within easy reach. Take lovely long walks in the nearby Cheviot Hills, and cycle rides can be enjoyed along the quiet, picturesque roads of the area.
