About this Holiday Cottage

This accommodation is different from the rest as it allows families or friends to come together in a top quality environment at a budget price from as little as £4.70 per person per night (based on full occupancy in low season). It makes a luxury visit to Liverpool affordable for all. 

Inside

The living accommodation is mainly themed around Liverpool FC and the Beatles with high quality and interesting artwork on the walls. There is a full central heating system for comfort. The lounge is able to seat 10 comfortably and has a 42" LCD TV with sky HD. Also in the lounge are a selection of board games, DVDs and a PS2 complete with computer games.

Off the entrance hall is a cloak room and WC facility. The kitchen diner has a fully fitted kitchen complete with all the equipment needed for a self-catering stay. The dining table seats 10. There is a utility room which has a computer station and free Internet access.

Also in the utility there is a dishwasher, tumble dryer, washing machine and ironing facility. Finally at the rear, accessed through patio doors, is a decked area with raised garden border. On the first floor there is a luxury communal bathroom with corner bath and shower facility.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms

The sleeping accommodation is arranged around four good sized bedrooms. The master bedroom has a luxurious en-suite with shower. Original Victorian fire places are in two of the bedrooms. The master bedroom sleeps four in two bunk beds with comfortable memory foam mattress and pillow. The second bedroom also sleeps 4 in two bunk beds.

There are two smaller single rooms which again have comfortable beds. All beds have fresh bedding and towels are provided for each. All rooms have wardrobes complete with clothes hangers. All rooms are key lockable and 6 people share the luxurious bathroom off the landing.

Other Things to Note

On arrival the party will be greeted by the house manager who will provide full instruction on the property and advise on the local area. A welcome pack will be made available giving all the information a visitor needs to get the best out of their stay. The house manager will be on call throughout the visitors stay for advice and support. On the day of departure the house manager will be around to take possession of the property and prepare for the next group. 

Availability

Bookings will be taken from May 09 for full week breaks (Friday to Friday): Weekends (Friday to Sunday) and Midweek breaks (Monday to Friday).

Around and About

This recently refurbished late Victorian property is situated in a suburb of Liverpool approx 2 miles from the city centre and 15 mins from John Lennon Airport. The vibrant city of Liverpool (Capital of Culture 2008) with all its attractions is just a short ride away and easily accessible by taxi or one of the nearby direct bus routes into the city centre.

The possibilities of Liverpool are too numerous to mention whether you are a family with small children or a group of friends there is something for everyone. In the heart of the city a trip to Liverpool One, the largest shopping area in Europe, is a must. Liverpool World Museum and Walker Art Gallery are ideal for young and old alike and draw visitors from all over the world.

For Beatles fans of course there is the famous Cavern Club and Mathew St area, city tours and the Beatles experience at the Albert Dock. The house is close to shops, takeaway food outlets and supermarkets. The beautiful Newsham Park with its lake and waterfowl are a short walk away as is a large aquatic and pet centre and the Peter Lloyd Leisure Centre. The house is also ideally positioned for easy access to other attractions such as Anfield stadium, Knowsley safari park, Speke Hall NT property and Gulliver's World theme park.
