Waldeck is a spacious, detached holiday home, located in the village of Mouldsworth, which lies on the edge of Delamere Forest. The property is just 8 miles from the historic city of Chester and is an ideal base for exploring the beautiful county of Cheshire and North Wales which is a popular area for both walkers and mountain bikers. Delamere Forest is just a mile away from Waldeck and offers dedicated trails for walkers, cyclists and riders. The more adventurous will enjoy the ’Go Ape’ tree top adventure course, and for horse lovers there is a 12 mile equestrian loop. Golf, polo, fishing are all available locally. Shopaholics will love Cheshire Oaks, and Blue Planet Aquarium and Chester races also make for a great day out. With an abundance of craft centres, stately homes, museums, and parks there really is something here for everyone, and in summer the beaches at Southport, Formby and North Wales are all within driving distance. For those who want to leave the car behind for the day, Mouldsworth railway station provides regular and easy access to Chester (10 minutes), Manchester and Liverpool.
