With a wide range of footpaths and cycle routes immediately nearby, it provides the ideal base for an activity holiday. Your closest pub, The Green Man, is just a short walk away in the village of Inglewhite, whilst a greater range of amenities can be found in Longridge, including two supermarkets and three pubs. For a change of scenery, take a short drive to the historical city of Preston, boasting inspiring architecture, the striking Harris Museum and Art Gallery and the Ribble Steam Railway, which is among the largest collection of steam locomotives in the UK. Alternatively, head north and explore the gracious landscapes of the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales National Park, promising a memorable outdoor experience.
