What a fantastic place for a break, everything has been thought through to make sure you have all you could possibly need. It was spotless, great cleaning team.The bed is very comfortable as is the sofa and dining area. We thought the position it’s in was great as we had sun until quite late in the afternoon. Yes there is noise from the M6 but we actually managed to forget about it and the plus side to that meant we were able to get to places easily. It’s ideally located in terms of exploring the area too, we enjoyed staying here so much we are hoping to come back in September. PS we also liked the hotel/pub, and there is a good bus service.

A lovely location close to lots of places to see. Bolton on sands, Arnside ,Lancaster and lovely walk by the canal,The M6 was close so would recommend accommodation in Swan House as it is a little further away from the motorwayThe accommodation itself was lovely and well set up

Lovely apartment with very comfortable furnishings and well equipped kitchen. very pleasant views of marina from the apartment.it wasn't warm enough to sit out on the terrace but wouldn't be able to relax there anyway because of the tremendous road noise. We couldn't hear any road noise inside the apartment with door closed.Information pack very useful. Directions for two walks in different directions along canal - again extreme road noise for part of the south walk which reduces further along the path but the north walk runs alongside the M6 and the noise was unbearable so we didn't complete the walk.Excellent spot if you are prepared to drive to different locations for quiet walks but not so good if you want to access walks directly from the site because of road noise.Lovely dog friendly bar in hotel next to apartments and great coffee shop just over the (very busy) road at the farm.
