Had a great stay at Pear Tree Barn. Ideal location for us and a great Restaurant/Bar next door. With family up the road location was spot on. We had a problem with the fridge whilst staying, it stopped working (these things happen) and the response was fantastic, same day replacement. Very pleased overall thank you.

It was lovely to stay at Pear Tree Barn, Dave is a really nice guy and gave us fresh towels for our second week, we really enjoyed our time at Pear Tree Barn and it was a great base for exploring the lakes. Small note- you may struggle if you dont want to use your car too much just because theres not much to do in the area itself and the buses dont run very late, however you can park at oxenholme station and get the train from there pretty easily. Overall I would say pear tree barn was a small and cosy place to stay. It may not have an oven but I was even able to cook a roast dinner with the combi so I was totally fine without one! My only critique (just a small one) is that there is no coffee machine as the pictures display so dont buy pods as I did. Other than that very impresed! 5 stars!

On arrival my accommodation was cold, damp and smelt a a bit musty. I aired the property and then tried to heat it, but for the duration of my stay it just felt damp. The property is suitable for a 1 person stay, is well equipped and has everything you need. Although there was no coffee machine as shown in one of the photos advertising the property. Driveway entrance is quite tight, larger cars may have an issue parking.
