Perfect quiet location only a few miles from Kendal and handy for the Motorway. Our excellent hosts, Hugh and Amanda, gave us lots of local information. A fantastic welcome pack too with essentials and homemade goodies. Very much a cosy "home from home" for our pre- Christmas break. We were delighted to find there was so much to do in the area in mid December. We explored the Lake District and even ventured into the Yorkshire Dales. Lots of Christmas shopping, coffee shops, museums and even the pantomime in Lancaster and the Theatre by the Lake in Keswick. We can really recommend the property and a big thank you to Hugh and Amanda! We were their last guests this year and weI are sure they will have lots of satisfied customers in 2025! Best Wishes, Helen and Stephen from Edinburgh.
