A warm and welcoming little bolt hole. The property is tastefully decorated with just the right amount of homeliness added here and there without feeling cluttered. Great little kitchen and a fabulous heating system. We managed to park temporarily outside to unload our bags, whilst being careful not to block the access route for others. We then used the near by car park during the day which was easily accessible from the cottage. Lots to do and see near by even on rainy days.

when we arrived it was really raining quite hard and we found it difficult to entre the cottage ,all our luggage got very wet as we could not park outside the cottage.cottage itself was very nice and location was good.we could not find a manual for the electric fire and we were unable to get it working.Speaking for myself as an elderly lady i found the stairs very steep.bathroom was very nice but the carpet got very wet after we all showered, could do with a rubber backed bathmat and not a towel one also could do with bathroom stool or chair to put clothes on.Top bedroom curtain could not close, not good.Kitchen could do with more glasses eg. small & large tumblers, we went to the charity shop to get some, as we had a child with us and the other glasses were not ideal. We could not get the bottom oven to work. These are not complaints just a few points to consider. We chose this cottage as it is close to our granddaughter and we came up for the Ulverston Lantern festival, we hope to use the cottage again as it is in a perfect location for us, it is a very nice cottage.Thankyou
