About this Holiday Cottage

Welcome to the Long Meadows cottage, in the ground of Whoop Hall and Country Club near the Lake District town of Kirkby Lonsdale. Designed by award winning architects and finished to the highest standard throughout, using only the finest quality furnishings to ensure your stay is a comfortable and enjoyable one. 

Inside

The lounge area has large floor to ceiling windows, allowing you to gaze out onto the views out over the well kept gardens. There is a wall mounted LCD TV with Freeview and DVD player, iPod and contemporary hole in the wall fire. 

The fully fitted kitchen contains an oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms

The cottage sleeps up to four people in two individually designed double bedrooms, each of which have their own bathroom or wet room, so ideal for a family or romantic getaway. 

Outside

Outside, you will find a private patio area with furniture and barbecue where you can make the most of those long summer evenings.

Guests at the cottage also receive full membership at the nearby country club where there is a swimming pool, spa, sauna, steam room, sunshower and state of the art fitness studio.

The Long Meadows cottage is located on the edge of the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales offering guests a plethora of activities and attractions including walks and cycle routes which take in the fantastic scenery and local wildlife. Head over to Windermere, Ambleside, and the many other towns which offer restaurant, country pubs and cafes. Try out one of the water sports available including sailing, canoeing, kayaking and much more to make your days fun filled and make your stay as enjoyable as possible. 

Directions

Leave the M6 at Junction 34, 35 or 36 and head east to Kirkby Lonsdale. The Meadows is situated 1 mile to the east of Kirkby Lonsdale, turn off the A65 at the Whoop Hall Hotel and follow signs to the rear of the country club. (The Meadows is approximately 7 miles from M6 Junction 36).
