To the rear of the cottage is an enclosed patio area, ideal for dining alfresco with a G&T in-hand during the summer months, or letting your pet out to stretch its legs while you sip your morning coffee. There is a summer house with double glazed picture windows overlooking the river and countryside – a true haven for wildlife, including a family of kingfishers, dippers, goldfinches, herons, buzzards, the occasional little egret and for the sharp eyed, you may even see otters on the bank opposite! This property is within reach of the charming village of Endmoor which is home to a delightful pub/restaurant if you don't fancy cooking one evening. Whilst you're in the area, make sure you explore the surrounding area, in particular the bustling market town of Kendal where you can visit the popular tourist attractions such as the 12th Century Kendal Castle and the Museum of Lakeland Life & Industry.
