Spacious and well equipped. The location is quiet and secluded with the added interest of the animals both farm and wild. At least 30 mins drive to get anywhere to visit or shop. Ennerdale brewery bistro well worth a visit just down the lane. We had pretty poor weather on our holiday but enjoyed it nevertheless, mainly due to the comfort of the lodge.

Alpaca lodge was perfect in every way, i could not have asked for more. The lodge is well equipped, super comfy bed, amazing fire and views in the evening. Great location for both the sea and the lake walks, we will be back to explore both in more detail! We were fortunate enough to not only see all of the animals they have on the small holding, but we also were spoilt with red squirrels in the paddock behind the house. Food shops are a little sparse, so bring with you what you need. We can recommend the brewery next to the cabin for food, ale and a good atmosphere!
