Ennerdale is widely regarded as one of the most unspoilt areas of the Lake District and is teeming with wildlife including indigenous red squirrels, osprey, and buzzards. If that’s not enough, Loweswater, 13 miles way, which leads to Crummock Water and then Buttermere and are well worth a visit.
