Harbour Watch is ideal for a coastal break and is within walking distance of the popular town centre of Maryport. When the tide is in, the busy harbour always has plenty of boats bobbing in the waves. Just across the road is the popular Wave Centre featuring climbing walls and gym. You are just a short stroll to your nearest pub and restaurant and only a 5-minute walk to the town centre of Maryport which is home to all the usual high street stores, a good selection of bars, restaurants, pubs serving local ales, independent coffee shops and cafés. Maryport also has a lovely beach to stroll along and soak up the fresh sea air. Maryport is located on the northwest Cumbrian coast and overlooking the Solway and the mountains of southern Scotland.
Just a few miles to the north is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a long stretch of sandy beaches. To the south there is the popular town of Whitehaven with its bustling harbour and town centre. If you enjoy culture and history, why not visit the Senhouse Roman Museum, ¾ mile away. If you like walking and cycling there are several cycle routes locally. Of course, if you want some more challenging climbs, you can easily access the Lake District National Park, you are equal distance to both Bassenthwaite where you’ll find The Lakes Distillery and The Lake District Wildlife Park, and Loweswater, home to the famous Kirkstile Inn where you can treat yourself to a pint of Loweswater Gold. We were very impressed on entering the property, clean, tidy, on the flat and really good views. The bath/shower room and kitchen looks like they have been recently renovated to a high standard including new carpets other rooms.We use Maryport to visit family and friends in the area and this flat is ideal. Indeed we are booked again for November. The town amenities are within a short walk and the the Lifeboat Inn provides great food and resonably priced. You don't need to get to the top of the hill!2 suggestions which will improve our next visit will be a grab handle in the shower for H&S, we're not brilliant on our feet. Also the freesat tuned to get all the available channels.

Flat was in an amazing location overlooking the dock with sea and mountains in the background. Great to be able to walk in to the town for a coffee. The accommodation was so homely and comfortable and very warm which was ideal as we stayed over the New Year period. It was in an ideal location for public transport too. Would thoroughly recommend this apartment

Great location overlooking the harbour. Short walk to lots of places to eat and drink. Handy for coastal walks and exploring Cockermouth, Keswick and the great walks of the surrounding fells. We hope to return.
