Had a lovely stay at Stonewood Country Lodge. The lodge itself is very well equipped with everything you need for a self catering break. We were especially grateful for the fans during our stay on the warmest of days. The location is very peaceful but with shops and restaurants nearby. Drove to Chester, Liverpool and Southport which were all great day trips. Thank you for allowing us to have your lodge and we would highly recommend it.

What a fantastic find, we couldn’t have asked for a better more well equipped lodge. There was nothing we needed that wasn’t provided. Spotlessly clean with so many extras. We visited so many lovely places, Chester city is well worth at least two visits! Cheshire oaks did not disappoint, Tarpoley has the best Tapas bar! The Royal Oak is only 5 Min walk from the Lodge, their food was delicious. We will be back, the Lodge was fantastic and great value for money. Would highly recommend. Janet and Caroline June 2026.
