Cottage was very warm and cosy. Ideal for a couple. Owner lived next door, which was handy. Good parking.Plenty of places within 20 miles to visit.Cottage had everything we needed, but the towels in bathroom could have been larger.

A comfortable and homely cottage with a spacious feel because of the high ceiling in the bedroom. A very warm welcome and thanks for the fresh milk for an arrival cup of tea. Lots of things to do within 30 minutes drive, we ran out of days rather than things to do. Nice to see the cows out of the window. Unfortunately there are no footpaths or pavements to get into Middlewich from Bess’s Cottage, so a car or bike is essential - it’s no fun walking on the verges of the main road.
